Funded by the NSF EAGER: Empowering the AI Research Community through Facilitation, Access, and Collaboration award and in partnership with CCMNet, we are pleased to open this call for participation.
The CC community harnesses a wealth of expertise; please consider volunteering! As a Mentor, you will be matched with a research project or RCD professional seeking guidance in your area of competency. As a Mentee, you will be paired with an experienced professional who will share their knowledge and experiences with you, helping you to navigate the often-complex advanced CI environments and resources.
How to Engage:
- Visit CCMNet
- Login with your ACCESS ID (preferred) or Campus Champions account or Join CCMNET
- Post a Mentorship: select to be paired with a Mentor, or a Mentee. Begin the “Engagement Title” field with the phrase [CC-AI]. Add appropriate tags, and choose the Mentorship Program "Campus Champions AI Mentorship". Complete the remaining fields in as much detail as possible.
- Show interest in an existing mentorship
Expectations of Participants:
- Mentors and Mentees meet monthly
- Mentors and Mentees attend monthly CCMNet meetings
- Mentors and Mentees attend quarterly Campus Champion program meetings (October, February, May, July - in lieu of CCMNet meetings on those months)
Time commitments are flexible and conclude when the mentorship pair has reached their agreed-upon goals and wish to move on to other opportunities.
